§ I

Let's begin.

Web projects succeed or stall on content. This intake gets ahead of that — so we know exactly what to build and what you'll provide.

Logo, colors, fonts, brand guidelines. We'll adapt to what exists or flag what's needed.

§ II

Site Type.

What kind of site are we building? This shapes everything downstream.

MBS builds primarily on Shopify. Showit and WordPress available as client options.

In one sentence — if this site does ONE thing well, what is it?

Specific if possible — bookings, sales, traffic, inquiries, authority shift.

§ III

Site Structure.

Map out every page your site needs. Add as many as you want — we'll refine during kickoff.

Add every page you can think of. Common pages: Home, About, Services, Work, Contact. We'll advise on structure during kickoff.

Start with the basics — you can always add, remove, or reorder during kickoff. Aim for the pages clients will actually need.

How do you want the top navigation structured? Any pages under submenus? Specific wording for nav labels?

§ IV

Content Status.

The big one. Who writes the copy, provides the photos, and when is it ready? Honest answers here save weeks later.

Why this matters Every web project that runs over timeline runs over because content wasn't ready. If you know copy is a weak spot, flag it now — MBS offers copywriting as an add-on, or can recommend writers.

Google Drive, Dropbox, or cloud folder where your images/assets live.

Phrases, taglines, or specific messages that must appear on the site. Things you keep saying that clients respond to.

Words, phrases, visuals you never want associated with your brand. Important to know upfront.

§ V

Features & Integrations.

What functionality do you need? What tools does this site need to connect to?

Check all that apply. We'll scope and price any that fall outside your tier during kickoff.

CRM (Dubsado, HubSpot), scheduling, analytics, chat widgets, anything else the site needs to connect to.

§ VI

Current Site.

If you have an existing site — what's working, what's not, what needs preserving.

Pages, sections, features that convert well or you're proud of. Worth preserving.

The weak spots you want fixed. Pages that don't convert, sections that confuse, anything clunky.

Important: if your site has SEO value, URL redirects need planning. Key pages that must keep their URLs for SEO.

3–5 websites you love — any industry. Note what specifically draws you (layout, tone, interactivity, simplicity).

Optional — examples of what NOT to do. Often very useful.

§ VII

Almost there.

Review your answers below. You can go back to edit any section, or submit when it's ready.

Launch dates, constraints, special considerations, things that didn't fit above.
